Hauz Khas Lake, Kauz Khas, New Delhi

The Hauz Khas Lake is sometimes referred to as the dying lake of Delhi. Even though the lake is not so well maintained, it is definitely a refreshing experience for a morning walk in Delhi.

The trees in the lake, the ducks and the birds compensate for the dirty water and capture the attention of all. The best entry to the lake is via Deer Park when the sun is about to rise. You can walk around the lake and see the fort.

The Deer Park is just = Park Balluchi + A 1.5km jogging track + Absolutely no deer at all.

Another way to get there is through the Hauz Khas District Park which has many gates from Green Park. It is a good place to get some physical exercise(check out the swings) and to jog or run.
